Southwark Registry Office Wedding Photographer | Georgia & Josh | Dale Weeks

I’m Dale, a documentary wedding photographer based in East Sussex. Georgia and Josh were the first couple I photographed at Camberwell Arms: a ceremony at Southwark Registry Office, then a short walk to the pub for a lunch in the private room upstairs, with the people closest to them.

No stiff poses, no awkward lineups. A photo under the Love Lane sign was the one thing they asked for, and everything else was documented as it happened.

Southwark Registry Office Ceremony

Georgia and Josh married at Southwark Registry Office, a small, quick ceremony with their closest people around them. Afterwards, the whole group walked to Camberwell Arms together.

A Photo Under the Love Walk Sign

The one request Georgia and Josh made was a portrait under the Love Walk sign. We stopped on the way, took it, and kept moving.

An Intimate Lunch Upstairs at Camberwell Arms

The upstairs private room has high ceilings and its own bar, and for a small group it felt properly private. The food is the draw at Camberwell Arms, and with so few guests it became a long, unhurried lunch.
