Bow Church Wedding Photographer | Amy & Bryn | Dale Weeks
I’m Dale, a documentary wedding photographer based in East Sussex. Amy and Bryn live in Bow, so their wedding began in their own neighbourhood: getting ready over the road, a pub stop with the groomsmen, a ceremony at Bow Church, then two buses across to Hackney City Farm for the party at Frizzante.
No stiff poses, no awkward lineups. A long ceremony, the most confetti I’ve ever seen thrown outside a church, speeches outdoors and a soul band to finish: all of it documented as it happened.
Getting Ready in Bow
Bryn’s groomsmen started the day at the pub, while Amy got ready with her bridesmaids at an Airbnb over the road. A day that began with the couple’s own streets as the backdrop.

Bow Church and the Most Confetti Ever
A long, heartfelt ceremony at Bow Church, then out into what has to be the most confetti I’ve seen thrown at a wedding. It was everywhere: hair, hands and air.

Two Buses to Hackney City Farm
No waiting around for taxis. The whole party piled onto two buses straight from the church to Hackney City Farm, which made the journey part of the day.

Drinks, Speeches and a Soul Band at Frizzante
Cocktails, canapés and speeches outside, then in to eat. After dinner, the dancing started in Frizzante to a soul band, and it didn’t stop.
