The Old Kent Barn Wedding – Rustic Charm in the Kent Countryside

The Old Kent Barn is one of those wedding venues that feels like it has everything. Rolling fields, a stunning barn, and the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor spaces. It’s no surprise that couples fall in love with it. This wedding was a brilliant example of why the barn is such a special setting.

The couple chose an outdoor ceremony under the open sky, surrounded by the countryside. Their children walked down the aisle ahead of them, which made the moment even more personal and moving.

Before the ceremony, the groomsmen gathered beneath a tree with glasses of whiskey – a small tradition that set the tone for the day. The bride’s dress carried a beautiful personal touch: stitched into the fabric were the initials K ♥ B, making it uniquely hers.

This wasn’t just a wedding; it was a celebration of family. Their kids were part of the ceremony, guests laughed and cheered throughout, and the whole day had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere.

After the vows, the gardens at The Old Kent Barn came alive with fun. Guests played hook-a-duck and other party games set up on the lawn. It gave the day a festival-like energy, where everyone could mingle and play in the sunshine.

As the day turned to evening, we slipped away for portraits in the fields surrounding the barn. The sunset light was golden, wrapping the couple in the kind of glow you only get in the Kent countryside.
