Farbridge Wedding Photographer | Anu & Fraser
Photographs
Anu and Fraser got married at Farbridge on an October day that refused to behave like October. Warm sunshine, everyone outside in the walled gardens, the kind of afternoon that makes West Sussex look like it was designed specifically for wedding photography.

Before the Ceremony
Farbridge has a secret garden — tucked away, quiet, completely removed from the rest of the venue. Anu and Fraser had some time there before the ceremony, just the two of them, before the day properly began. It’s one of those moments that’s easy to miss if you’re not paying attention. I was.
The Ceremony
Guests had come from all over the world for this one. The mix of cultures and backgrounds gave the day a particular warmth — different traditions, different accents, everyone there for the same reason. The autumn palette Anu and Fraser had chosen — earthy, subtle, nothing like the usual October orange — sat perfectly against Farbridge’s restored barns and rolling West Sussex countryside.

The Portraits
After the ceremony I walked Anu and Fraser up to the abandoned farm on the edge of the Farbridge estate. Old buildings, open sky, the countryside stretching out around them. The October light was doing exactly what October light does when it’s warm and low — making everything look like a photograph before you’ve even taken it.

The Reception
Long tables, big flowers, guests who’d flown in from the other side of the world sitting next to people from down the road. At some point during the evening, guests surprised Anu and Fraser with impromptu performances — the kind of thing you can’t plan and can’t stage and that makes for the best photographs of the day. The dancing that followed went on until the barn went quiet.A Day to RememberAnu and Fraser’s wedding was a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. With loved ones flying in from all over the world, the atmosphere was electric with excitement and joy. It was an honor to be there, capturing all the beautiful moments and being part of such an incredible day.
Thinking About Farbridge for Your Wedding?
Farbridge is on the recommended suppliers list and I know the venue well — the light across those fields in every season, the flow between the ceremony and reception spaces, and all the spots that aren’t in the brochure. If you’re planning a wedding here I’d love to hear about it.
