Backstreets, fishing huts, wildflowers, and a walk that never felt rushed. I shot their legal ceremony in the quiet before the show. They arrived together—hand in hand, no first look needed. That was the look. Alice got changed in an old wagon. No big setup. Just a mirror, some light, a moment. I used a kaleidoscope filter—because not everything has to be sharp to feel true. The day had a rhythm. Cake (fake for photos, real straight after). Confetti over a broom jump. Canoe full of cold drinks. Organ music in a barn. And a carousel—technically a galloper—running clockwise into the afternoon. I shoot documentary first. But when the light’s right and the vibe’s good, I’ll flex. I’ll frame it like a film still. I’ll make it weird, if weird is what it needs. Because real doesn’t mean boring.
