So here it is – another year over.

The 6th Season of weddings and somewhere along the way we hit wedding number 200.
If this was another season of Friends; we would have started the year with Ross and Rachel married in Vegas and ended with Chandler and Monica engaged.

I digress.

THANK YOU, to all my clients. There are soooo many other photographers, so many other choices out there, and so whenever I am hired to shoot your wedding I am soooo grateful!
90 clients put their faith and trust in me this year. WTF!

Every wedding this year has been an absolute joy and I always feel a little bit sad once I’ve sent my final email and the wedding photos have been posted.

But this is probably my favourite part of the year when I can sit down with my family and actually have a weekend of doing nothing – no planes, trains or cars to hop onto and places to be.
I can just sit back and take a look at every gallery I’ve sent throughout the year and revisit my favourite shots, and shots that have grown on me and see differently some time after the wedding (some photos are like a fine wine or cheese and get better with age – what do you think?)

Anyway, so here we are.
2018 done and dusted.

I am taking on fewer weddings next year to focus on family, but still hoping for 75% or so of my usual workload while my wife goes back to work.
